Heatsink Singlespeed Tensioner
(Availability TBC)

Price to be confirmed

Here are the latest tensioners! Not yet available to buy, but a fully dialed design thanks to months of testing and tweaking earlier prototypes.

We thought we'd put these photos up so you can tell us what you think. If demand appears strong then we can speed these into production ahead of other new products.

These early examples have been hand machined and are chunkier than the intended design. Future versions will be an premium quality UK CNCed product with pockets sculpted from the arm to remove weight. The mech hanger bolt will feature a 5mm hex head, and we're also considering a few colour alternatives to standard silver.

Here are some of the design features;

1. Stronger than similar designs with the normal weak spot in the geometry beefed up.

2. Offers greater arm angle adjustment compared to similar designs.

3. Stays in place better when hit.

4. Comes with axle collars to allow use with the range of popular trials hub axle set-ups including Quick Release, Chris King Funbolts, Hope ProTrial II.

5. Better quality finish than preceeding designs. Parts 100% machined from Aluminium and Steel billet in our respected UK CNCing establishment with a strong track record for quality.

6. Chain runs silky smooth and silent on a custom machined sprocket mounted on sealed cartridge bearings. Rollers are commonly used due to their low cost but these are notchy and noisy in the drivetrain since their form doesn't match the chain profile. We think the investment in a machined sprocket is well worth it for rider satisfaction.

7. Infinitely adjustable chainline position. Many designs offer no chainline adjustment, and others require spacers than require several fits to get right. This all seems rather daft to us - A simply adjustable split clamp allows the chainline to be set perfectly in the time it takes to tighten the bolt with your handy 5mm allen key.

8. Emergency tool feature - to be explained further at a later date!
