Over the last year we've been examining the existing boosters on the market, making our own observations and listening to riders' feedback now that issues have had time to emerge. The many aspects of improvement which were highlighted have been integrated into this booster which no one can deny has been produced from start to finish to a much higher quality than the existing products on the market which inspired it.

The stylish profile has been developed with the assistance of a team of the top UK riders over many months of sending out prototypes and tweaking the geometry slightly each time. The result is that it not only looks fantastic but that the interior form offers the optimum shape for tyre clearance and ease of fitment, and the exterior form discretely tucks away nicely into the frame envelope to avoid ankle collisions. The top arch also has the benefit of shielding the Magura crossover hose from damage.

We conducted a wide survey of Trials frame fitment sizes which highlighted that similar existing boosters neglect some recently popular frames such as the new Onza T-Rex. Our booster has a wider fitment range to include the neglected frames. Ease of fitting was another area which riders told us needed improving. It is very awkward to fit a booster if you can't hold the Magura slave cylinders straight to avoid them twisting whilst you're tightening the fixing bolts. By adopting a curved internal leg shape between the mounting bolts, this booster is a breeze to fit.

Finally, this thoroughly researched & lovingly developed booster has been realised without compromise. Some Far Eastern rivals are near shape cast followed by rushed partial machining to get the cost down to nothing. The pursuit of the cheapest possible production route causes reduced quality via an inconsistent and poor surface finish, whilst the Aluminium material properties following casting are compromised compared to billet material.. We're pleased to say that we focussed on quality from the outset rather than striving to make parts for peanuts. This Heatsink booster starts life as a lump of premium HE30 Aluminium billet and all excess material is carefully CNC machined away at our state-of-the-art facility in Great Britain to give the very best mechanical properties and finish.

Let's not forget that this product is for outdoor use and may be exposed to the worst weather conditions nature cares to throw at a bike. Rather than leaving the Aluminium raw and open to environmental attack like competitors, this Heatsink booster is fully anodised to protect against corrosion and so preserve looks and mechanical integrity.

Because of our total commitment to setting new levels of booster quality, these boosters were many times more expensive to make compared to those that have gone before. Fortunately, because we sell direct and aren't being greedy, we've managed to avoid passing this increased cost onto riders. The fantastic news is that we've succeeded in bringing this improved and higher quality booster to the market at a price which still undercuts existing rivals.

• Lovingly machined in the Great Britain from start to finish from solid HE30 Aluminium billet to set new levels of finish quality and material properties.
• 12mm maximum thickness with optimised geometry for stiffness and weight via bullnose cut away pockets. Material removed in the vicinity of the Neutral Axis where stress is minimal and preserved at the extremities to resist the compressive and tensional braking stresses.
• Cross-section design verified for optimal profile via mathematical and computer based Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Easily identifiable via machined out Heatsink "H" on the top arch.
• Interior form developed to give a good balance between tyre clearance for a wide range of tyres, and also compactness for maximum stiffness
• Exterior form slightly more compact than rival boosters to ensure the booster doesn't get in the way of ankles during riding.
• Curved inside leg profile allows easier fitting than similar existing boosters by allowing access to the slave cylinders so they can be held straight whilst attaching the bolts.
• Wider 93 - 103mm fitment range than some similar boosters on the market to extend fitment across frames from established manufacturers. Our research found that some popular frames were being neglected by some current CNCed offerings.
• Anodised for longterm corrosion resistance
• Includes all fully plated mounting bolts and British machined Aluminium spacers (some rival boosters use plastic spacers).
