I've been running the same set of white pads on a ground rim for 9 months of riding - The wear rate is low!

I've been using the Heatsink pads and CNCed backings for month and a bit now. Their performance is perfect! I was riding in the wet the other day, and I'm sure my mate can vouch that there was hardly any difference in braking power when it started to rain. They're immense! Even when his disk was starting to lack its normal hold, mine just kept on trucking. Very stiff, and very loud. When the pads wear out, I will definitely be using another set of Heatsink refills in these backings!

The moment I put the CNCed backings on, the brake felt more responsive and firmer than plastic backed pads. Over 4 weeks of riding I've found that the CNCed backings have reduced the amount that rounded edges formed on the pads as they wore compared to plastic backings, which means better performing pads for longer. The clip which attaches it to the piston is far more secure, there is no way it is coming unclipped which a couple of powerpad backings have done to me in the past. The Heatsink pads work amazingly in both the dry and wet!
