Our track record clearly demonstrates the big impact we've made on the Trials scene for a relatively small company!

Trials Brake Pads Our first product development was pad compounds with perfect attributes for Trials riding, supported by a reliable UK manufacture process we originated using our own unique design of Mould tooling. The pad compounds were carefully selected from extensive testing by some of the World's best riders. This process continues today and now benefits from the involvement of Multiple World Champions Aurelien Fontenoy plus Gilles and Giacomo Coustellier.

CNC Alu Magura Backings We next focussed on designing Magura backings CNCed from billet Aluminium featuring an innovative o-ring clip. These eliminate the backing flex found with standard plastic backings so giving a much more responsive brake. This great product was then made even better by the inspired idea of taking refills to replace worn out pads. This means that these brake backings not only set new standards of performance, but are also cheaper to run over time. This design became the most successful CNC backing ever, being used by Aurelien Fontenoy to win 4 World Championships and 2 European Championships.

CNC Alu Vee Backings Continuing in the vein of improving on current brake product offerings, we then set a new standard with our Vee backings CNCed from billet aluminium for unbeatable strength. These were the first to be designed to fit the universal geometry of pads from Magura backings, whilst also having an optimised slimline form to offer riders more pad height and so value for money. Like the CNC Magura backings, these pads benefit from a wide range of refills all now proven by World Champion riders, offering better performance for your money than ever before.

CNC Brake Booster We were one of the first to produce a thick CNC Aluminium booster to eliminate the flex in the rear brake assembly. Our booster stands as masterclass for this concept. Extensively analysed so the material is distributed where needed and removed where not, so enhancing braking control without a weight penalty. It features optimised performance combined with stylish looks, the hallmark of HeatsinkBikes products. This booster enjoyed a successful production run, only to be retired when the market became swamped with similar items from the Far East. It was time to address some emerging desires from riders and work our magic yet again to turn these new ideas into products.

Vee Adapters The concept of this product was borne of riders' new confidence in Vee brakes for Trials thanks to Trials specific Vee brake pads like those from HeatsinkBikes. With 4 bolt magura mounts becoming standard on Trials frames, the desire was there to find an adapter allowing the use of Vee brakes. We were quick to answer this demand with the Mk1 Vee adapters which were unbreakable and simple to use. As soon as we found design improvements these were filtered into the new versions keeping our adapters top dog in the market. With the Mk2 we were the first to offer an ambidextrous design CNCed from Aluminium billet featuring a choice of 3 mounting positions to suit a wide range of rim widths. When this concept was widely imitated by Far Eastern companies, we released the Mk3 which was the first to feature a 4th mounting position which offers increased braking power on many frames. This latest version of HeatsinkBikes Vee Adapters continues to be the undisputed King of Vee Adapters.

Cloud9 Middleburn Bashguard This product was released after listening closely to riders' demands. The Middleburns crankset is proven to be great for the rigours of Trials riding but major updates were overdue to the supporting sprocket and bashguard assemblies to match the current trends in Trials. Riders were keen to use 18t sprockets rather than the bigger 22t whilst not having to spend on an integrated bash and sprocket which has to be thrown away when the sprocket wears out.We solved this problem for riders with our stunning Cloud9 bashkit featuring removal sprockets as well as a street tough CNCed Alu bashguard all optimised for wide Trials chains.This was the very first 18t bashguard arrangement for Middleburns, and the first independent made bashkit which features the Middleburn "Sweet Torque" spline for maximum pedalling efficiency.

The 24UK Trials Frame From when the 24" frame idea for Trials was being first mooted, we responded to riders' interest by designing the 24UK Street Trials frame.This was a huge injection of new energy into the emerging 24" scene and was warmly received by riders. The current Mk3 of this popular Trials frame has an even more optimised strength to weight design than before and is the only 24" frame on the market to feature provision for Magura, Vee and Disc brakes!
